What file types can I attach to a fax?

The following file types can be attached to a fax:

Render with Microsoft Office:

doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pptx, ppt, pps

Attention: "Print in background" must be switched OFF in Word!

Rendering with Open Office:

doc, docx, xlsx, pptx, ppt, pps, odp, ods, odt

Attention: Open Office has problems with .xls files!

Rendering PDF documents:

a) with Adobe Reader: pdf=IVMimePDF.dll

b) internally ("internal" PDF renderer of XPhone Server): pdf=IVMimePDFX.dll (default)

c) with SumatraPDF: pdf=IVMimePDFCmdl.dll

Rendering with various apps (sorted alphabetically):
