If the server-side rendering does not work, even though the corresponding software is installed on the server, e.g. Adobe Reader for rendering faxes, you can switch the fax renderer to Sumatra.
Proceed as follows:
Open the “Mail2FaxMime.ini” file under “[...]\XPhone Connect Server\UMS\bin”. There is a section in the file:
;Rendering PDF documents
; a) with Adobe Reader: pdf=IVMimePDF.dll, or
; b) internally: pdf=IVMimePDFX.dll (default), or
; c) with SumatraPDF: pdf=IVMimePDFCmdl.dll
;---------------------------------------------------
;pdf=IVMimePDF.dll
pdf=IVMimePDFX.dll
;pdf=IVMimePDFCmdl.dll
The last two lines must be changed so that it looks like this:
;Rendering PDF documents
; a) with Adobe Reader: pdf=IVMimePDF.dll, or
; b) internally: pdf=IVMimePDFX.dll (default), or
; c) with SumatraPDF: pdf=IVMimePDFCmdl.dll
;---------------------------------------------------
;pdf=IVMimePDF.dll
;pdf=IVMimePDFX.dll
pdf=IVMimePDFCmdl.dll
Save the file.
Note: The UM services must be restarted for the change to take effect. |
