In the call control or address book view, no presence status is displayed for some users and there is no possibility to send instant messages to this contact. What could be the reason for this?
When a record is searched for and displayed in the XPhone Client, it is determined whether it is an XPhone Server user. To determine this, the phone number and e-mail address from the address book entry are used. The relevant XPhone Server presence management returns a reference to the user in the XPhone Server. If this is valid, the presence status (present, absent, appointment, etc.) and also the instant message (IM) button can be displayed.
If the display does not work for some users, check whether both the e-mail address and the phone number have been stored in the address book or XPhone Server.
