You've configured multiple Telephony-Gateways of different locations in the XPhone Server. Because they are connected, users can call internally and pick calls across locations. If this isn't being routed by the PBX automatically, you can configure this in the XPhone Server.
The following settings need to be configured on the XPhone Server via the "Special configuration of dialling parameters" tool, which you can find in the XPhone Connect Server Manager or XPhone Server Service Manager respectively. Log on with a XPhone Server Admin ID.
Diese Wahlparameter gelten zur Verdeutlichung des nachfolgenden Einstellungs-Beispiel:
Location 1 Munich
+49 (89) 12345-0
3- to 4-digit extensions
Location 2 Hamburg
+49 (40) 98765-0
3- to 4-digit extensions
Location 3 Vienna
+43 (1) 45678-0
3- to 4-digit extensions
1. Choose in the "Special configuration of dialling parameters" tool under NAME the dialling parameter of the first location "Munich"
2. Click in the SPECIAL CONFIGURATION | REGULAR EXPRESSIONS on NEW to add a new regular expression.
3. In the window "Edit special configuration" choose "DisplayToDialable" and define the following values:
Value 1: ^(04098765|0043145678)([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$2
4. Choose in the "Special configuration of dialling parameters" tool under NAME the dialling parameter of the second location "Hamburg"
5. Click in the SPECIAL CONFIGURATION | REGULAR EXPRESSIONS on NEW to add a new regular expression.
6. In the window "Edit special configuration" choose "DisplayToDialable" and define the following values:
Value 1: ^(08912345|0043145678)([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$2
7. Choose in the "Special configuration of dialling parameters" tool under NAME the dialling parameter of the third location "Vienna"
8. Click in the SPECIAL CONFIGURATION | REGULAR EXPRESSIONS on NEW to add a new regular expression.
9. In the window "Edit special configuration" choose "DisplayToDialable" and define the following values:
Value 1: ^(00498912345|00494098765)([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$2
10. SAVE your settings
You can now check whether the correct results have been achieved with the configured settings via the TEST button at any time.
HiPath 3000 / Openscape Business Particularities (MULAP)
Possibly you have to consider if there are MULAP groups in use in the locations. The dialling parameter rules will need to be adjusted accordingly (e.g. Mulap-prefixes ** and ***).
For Munich:
DisplayToDialable
Value 1: ^(04098765|004345678)(\*{2,3})?([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$3
For Hamburg:
DisplayToDialable
Value 1: ^(08912345|004345678)(\*{2,3})?([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$3
For Vienna:
DisplayToDialable
Value 1: ^(00498912345|00494098765)(\*{2,3})?([0-9]{3,4})$
Value 2: i$3
Additionally you need to make the Mulap prefixes known to the XPhone Server. Add an additional dialling parameter rule with the name MulapPrefix and the value X**,X***
NOTE: If you're using for example 66 and 77 instead of ** and ***, the syntax is:
Name: MulapPrefix
Wert: X66,X77
Adjust these settings for the dialling parameters of all the other locations as well.
With this setting Mulap prefixes will no longer be signalled or dialled.
Notes:
1. It is assumed that the internal extension is unique (unique dial plan)
2. Depending on environmental settings and signalling from the PBX, corrections deviant from the mentioned examples will need to be made.
3. The picking of calls across locations via the XPhone Team-Panel cannot be guaranteed.
4. The settings in the "Dialling Parameters special configuration" tool are globally valid, every call via the XPhone Team-Panel or the XPhone Client uses these rules. Dialling directly via your telephone will not incur the dialling parameter rules.
5. If there are two locations or dialling parameters with the same area code, you mustn't enter the area code in the "Value 1" field in the DisplayToDialable rule! Always use the shortest possible callable format in the field "Value 1" for DisplayToDialable rules.
