You want to start the XPhone Connect Server and it hangs at 15%? This article describes the reason for this and how the behavior can be fixed.
Question:
What can I do if the XPhone Server service startup hangs at 15% or exits there automatically?
Solution:
First connect to the SQL Server with the with SQL Server Management Studio.
If one of the two databases (XPDATA , XPVDIR) is set to "Recovery Pending", the corresponding SQL service must be restarted.
To restart the service, do the following:
Open the Windows services (services.msc) on the server (running the SQL Server) > Navigate to the SQL Server service of the instance of the affected database > Stop it and then restart it
Note: The origin of the behavior comes from the SQL Server itself. If the above step does not help, a service pack update of the SQL database may help.
