Why aren't my custom video backgrounds showing up in WebMeeting?

Problem:

In video meetings (whether via the client or a browser), custom backgrounds are not displayed in versions 10.0 and 10.1.

The reason the background view does not update is due to the browser cache. This issue will be resolved in XPhone 10.2.

In versions 10.0 or 10.1, you’ll need to use the following workaround.

Solution:

  1. Press F12 in the browser window or WebView window to open DevTools.
  2. Navigate to the “Network” tab.
  3. Check the box next to “Disable Cache”
  4. Close the DevTools and press F5 to refresh the page
  5. From now on, the browser/client should always fetch the latest images from the server
