In which format must phone numbers be entered in the source (Active Directory or text file) so that they can be created as a line in the XPhone Server and automatically assigned to users?
The connector first filters special characters such as round brackets, minus signs and slashes. The following formats are generally permitted:
+49(89)123456-78
0049-89-123456-78
089/12345678
089.123456.78
123456-78
78
etc.
In principle, the dialling parameters and the telephony gateway must be created in the server before a connector is executed so that lines can be created and assigned.
Short numbers such as the number without area code (123456-78) or only the extension number (78) can only be used if there is only one fixed network gateway with only one dialing parameter in the XPhone server. The connector must be able to clearly assign the call number to the fixed network gateway.
If more than one telephony gateway exists, the telephone number must be entered in full (national or international) in the source.
If lines are used in several countries, the country code must be entered in the call number field in the source. Please note that the country code must begin with a leading 00 or +.
