Error pattern:
In V9.8.69, the functionality of the ACLs, which you can configure in the XCC Gateway, has been improved. As a result, if the configuration is missing or incomplete, calls that are received at the client can no longer be accepted via softphone.
If this happens to you, proceed as follows:
Check the cause:
- Start the logging of the XCC (Logging > Telephony gateways > Edit XCC > Log mode on "Debug messages".
- Recreate the behavior.
Open the log file of the XCC (Logging > Telephony gateways > Click on XCC > Show log files).
Make sure that you are in the "XCC_FS" log.- Search for an entry as follows:
... [WARNING] switch_rtp.c:616 ICE candidate [172.25.0.101:59898] rtp acl_passed: false, check_ice_acl: 1
- The IP-Address above is only an example, if the IP-Address corresponds to the IP address of the client used for testing, this is the cause. The IP-Address or the range in which the client is located is not configured in the whitelist.
Solution:
- Open the ACL settings of the XCC (XPhone Server in the administration interface under Telephony & Meetings > Telephony > SIP > Edit XCC Gateway).
- Enter all IP address ranges that belong to the clients / VPNs in the whitelist.
| Note: It is not necessary to restart the XCC. |
