What rights does a user have in a database linked to the XPhone Client?

Can a user make changes or delete records in a database linked to the XPhone Client (e.g. an Outlook contact folder or an SQL database linked via ODBC)?

The databases are accessed via the respective database interface. The rights that this user has to the database anyway apply.

If the user should not be able to change or delete data records, the corresponding rights must be granted or withdrawn internally in the database.
