Question:
In the default configuration, the user's main phone number is transmitted in the CLIP for AnyDevice or softphone calls. How can I configure the phone number to be transmitted?
The CLIP refers to the fields "Remote-Party-ID" or "P-Asserted-Identity" in the SIP header.
Solution:
In the XPhone Connect administration interface, navigate to Telephony > Lines and edit the AnyDevice (!) line you want to change.
AnyDevice lines are marked with (AnyDevice) in the line name.
Expand the Advanced Settings section and add the AssistedDialCLIP parameter with the value of the desired phone number by clicking Add....
The phone number can be entered as a value in the following formats:
Extension:
123
International
0049891234567123
International (E.164)
+49891234567123
For internal calls the parameter AssistedDialCLIPIntern can be used.
In addition there is the AssistedDialCLIPMode. This is also set in the AnyDevice line and can have the following values:
0: if only the value for 'AssistedDialCLIP' is set, the same CLIP number is set for internal as well as external calls.
1: the CLIP number for 'AssistedDialCLIP' is used for external calls.
2: if a CLIP number is set for 'AssistedDialCLIPInternal', it will be used, otherwise the CLIP number of 'AssistedDialCLIP'.
-1: disables the whole feature without resetting the settings for 'AssistedDialCLIP' and/or 'AssistedDialCLIPIntern'.
Attention: Incorrect configuration leads to Error/Warning entries in the event display.
