In various scenarios, the XPhone Connect Server sends e-mails. In Outlook you then receive a mail from XY@domain.de, but it is always preceded by “XPhone Connect”.
This article describes how you can assign your own name for the sender for the mails that you receive with the corresponding configuration for fax, voicemail or SMS.
A separate entry can be configured in the “IVEasyMail.ini” file for each so-called “MessageClass”.
This file must be created manually in the installation directory of the XPhone Connect Server under \UMS\bin.
Example for the IVEasyMail.Ini file:
[MailSenderName]
Mail=XPhone Connect
Fax=XPhone Connect Fax
FaxDR=XPhone Connect Fax
FaxNDR=XPhone Connect Fax
SMSDR=XPhone Connect SMS
SMSNDR=XPhone Connect SMS
Voice=XPhone Connect Voicemail
